2006-2007
Knox Trail Junior High School serves approximately 326 students in grades 7 and 8. 2006-2006 was the first year that Knox Trail participated in the JFYNet Academic Support Program. JFYNet worked with 8 math teachers in classrooms of all levels. These math teachers utilized and embraced all aspects of the JFYNet program; Plato software, MCAS resources, offline activities, and performance reports. Teachers had access to the Plato software in a central computer lab as well as a smaller number of computers in their individual classrooms. The 2006-2007 school year has been a complete success regarding the implementation and use of the JFYNet program. This is due to the dedication of all students, teachers, and administrators at Knox Trail. With all of their successes, Knox Trail received a JFYNet Achievement Award in May of 2007.
