JFYNetWorks is Boston's largest workforce and career development training center for youth and adults. Located on Tremont Street Park Street Station, JFYNetWorks offers GED preparation, computerized MCAS preparation, computer skills, and industry-based job skills training.

JFYNetWorks trainees come from all city neighborhoods and range in age from 16 to over 40. Since its founding 27 years ago, JFYNetWorks has trained over 20,000 youth and adults.

JFYNetWorks mission is to help Boston's youth and adults develop the skills needed to become productive, independent participants in the new economy. Our JFYNet learning program extends our mission to the entire Commonwealth and beyond.

JFYNetWorks advanced skill training programs have been developed for specific occupations in targeted industries. These programs train non-college-educated adults for jobs generally reserved for college graduates. They offer career opportunities for the two-thirds of the population who do not graduate from college.

JFYNetWorks currently offers training in environmental technology. Our program was selected by the Ford Foundation for national replication, and our environmental technology training has been recognized by the United States Environmental Protection Agency as a national model.

In 1997 JFYNetWorks moved to new quarters on Tremont at Park Street in the heart of the business, retail and financial districts. This state-of-the-art training facility at the center of the public transportation network positions JFYNetWorks to serve the entire region as the gateway to career employment.

JFYNetWorks has developed this concept into JFYNet - an e-learning strategy that uses technology to provide literacy and job skills as a foundation for long-term career development.
